Final Portfolio Screen Designs

I have completed the final version of my portfolio screen designs, which can be viewed by following the links below.

Home page for portfolio

Interior page for portfolio

I have bumped up the font size slightly on the interior pages, and changed a few of the link names on my navigation. Nothing much else has been changed, apart from the image viewer.

I have decided to drop the idea of using an AJAX image viewer, and I am just going to use a slide-type feature - note the numbers underneath the image. The image would also be a link, allowing the user to open up a high resolution version of the image to take a more detailed look at.

I'm very keen to hear people's opinions on this part of the design especially, and of course anything else.

Hi Craig,

The design looks good, the only thing I would change is the navigation, perhaps make it a bit more visually appealing? On the whole I like it though.

Don't forget there are other templates to design, such as the contact page and the 'portals' into your web and print sections.

Good work ;-D

Yeah, cheers for the feedback Dave, it's appreciated. I have an idea of what I will do for the other pages, and the navigation is a good suggestion.

I guess it is a little out of the way and conspicuous, and might be difficult for some people to spot. It's something I will have a play around with.

Any ideas about what you could do with the navigation instead? I do feel that it is out of the way, but this design sort of limits the navigation.

Maybe you could shorten the width of the Trexi work and insert one more piece of work next to it?

I have to say that the design altogether is looking quite unique, despite how relatively simple the layout is. The way you have used your fonts also gives the site some life.

Nice work
